Alasdair Fraser - Master Scottish fiddler Alasdair Fraser is a consummate performer. His dynamic fiddling, engaging stage presence, and deep understanding of Scotland's music have created a constant and international demand for his solo appearances and concerts with a variety of ensembles.
Al Petteway and Amy White - An "Amazing Alchemy" of guitar, piano and vocals. A very talented and well known duo from Maryland
Brother - Brother combines traditional rock instruments (electric guitars and drums) with the haunting and captivating sounds of the bagpipe and didgeridoo, the band "stirs a primitive, primal passion."
Casey Neill - High energy from a very talented singer/songwriter/guitariist. Casey's original songs along are flavored with rambunctious traditional and contemporary Irish, Celtic, bluegrass, newgrass and folk music.
Changeling - Karl and Deborah Colon perform highly charged Celtic music on guitar and fiddle. One of our favorites since our early days.
Drew Nelson - From Grand Rapids, Michigan, Drew's songs touch deep into the soul, break open one's mind to his insightful lyrics, and wrap it all up in a neat package featuring his great voice and guitar playing.
Dougie MacLean - One of Scotland's most successful, respected and popular musicians. Singer-songwriter, Composer and 'magical' Performer, he is also a fine guitarist and fiddle player.
Equation - (Band is currently not performing and link is not working) - Folk/Rock Music in the English Style From a tiny village in south-west England comes Equation with their presentation of Centuries old songs of seduction and of ghost stories that sit comfortably beside their self-penned songs of observation of the modern English way of life.
Fairport Convention - The Legendary English Folk/Rock Band. Not many bands can proudly claim to stay together for over 35 years. They've also produced around 50 albums during that span.
Gaiananda - Tribal Music and Dance Ensemble from Cincinnati.
Grada - Very talented and relatively new band from Ireland.
Heirloom - Heirloom has disbanded. Some members have reformed in band called WYNDSMYTH. They were a Niagara Falls, NY based Celtic band specializing in the traditional music forms of Ireland, Scotland, Wales and Northumbria, including a glimpse into the styles of other Celtic Nations. We will miss them.
Jim Donovan - "Eat, Drum, Sleep - Repeat Daily!" Jim is the drummer with the rock band Rusted Root. When not touring with the band, he conducts Hand Drumming Workshops.
Jim Malcolm - One of Scotland's finest folk singers and songwriters and former lead singer with the world-renowned Old Blind Dogs.
Jim Volk - Guitarist Extraordinaire. A fantastic guitarist and performer. Words cannot describe his abilities. He MUST be seen.
Kara and Craig Markley - Traditional Celtic and original music. See Lone Raven Music Craig and daughter Kara specialize in playing traditional Celtic and original music. Kara on fiddle, keyboards and vocals; Craig on keyboards, guitar, whistles, accordion and vocals.

Laura Cortese - Celtic and folk fiddle, singer, step dancer, sometime solo, sometimes with a band.
Lisa and Heather Malyuk - Lisa plays the hammered dulcimer and a odd little instrument called the banjo-uke, and Heather performs on the guitar and fiddle. Their repertoire of tunes ranges from energetic reels and jigs to bittersweet waltzes, from driving international rhythms to old fashioned hymns.
Maidens IV - This lively Quartet of sisters, Maidens IV, performs Celtic and Folk music. Their charming style creates entertainment with tight harmony and class.

Natalia Zukerman - Natalia Zukerman has a sound that’s strong yet delicate, gentle yet insistent. You can call the music she makes folk if you want, but there’s jazz in it, too, and blues, and a soulful something or other that you can’t quite put into words.

Pitch the Peat - Pitch the Peat is a traditional Irish trio with band members from the east and west coasts of Ireland. They blend traditional and modern Irish songs with high energy jigs and reels for a lively and moving performance.
Rathkeltair - Piper Neil Anderson's Celtic band.
Rob Hemmick - Mansfield, Ohio is home for this singer/songwriter/keyboard player.
Sarah Goslee Reed - Her voice is exquisite – clear, pure and most appealing. Her original songs are of real life events, happy memories of childhood, of family and friends, living life to its fullest.
Silver Arm - Cincinnati area based Celtic music band. Over 10 years of performing Celtic music with enthusiasm and respect for the spirit of this centuries old art form.
Stark Raven - Regrettably, as of August 2004, this 5 member Celtic music band from the Delaware/Columbus, Ohio area has disbanded. This link is continued to their website as there is encouraging word that many of the members will be joined by others in a new configuration. The eesence of this group survives in Lone Raven Music.

Venues and Organizations
Columbus Folk Music Society - A Non-Profit, All Volunteer Organization. Their mission is to promote singing, playing, storytelling, and dance events in a non-threatening setting. They support a monthly coffeehouse and the Central Ohio Folk Festival.
Godfrey Daniels. - A not-for-profit, member supported listening club in Bethlehem, PA. They host many great Celtic and Folk music performers. Check them out if you are in their area.
Green Willow. - Dedicated to the preservation and growth of British Isles and Celtic folk music. Located in Wilmington, Delaware, this fine organization presents many top British and Celtic folk music artists.
Mountain Rose - The Mountain Rose Concert Series. The Mountain Rose is a small-hall concert series featuring local and regional artists with more talent than exposure. They pride themselves on presenting high-quality performances to an audience that really LISTENS.
Unitarian Universalist Church, Bellville, Ohio. Our very first concert, in 1999, was in the UU, and we still partner with the UU to hold events there. The room is cozy, charming and has great acoustics. It is also a great place to visit. This link takes you to their website where you can learn more.
